Jonathan came to Images when he was five (5) years old. His big brother, Joshua, had taken Images classes, so little brother wanted to do the same.

In March 2001, Jonathan auditioned for and was selected to attend the IMTA Convention in New York City. He missed winning Child Male Actor of the Year by one (1) point, but was signed with JDS Model Management in LA.

The Pickett Family relocated to Santa Clarita that following year and the rest is history.

Jonathan completed seventeen (17) days of filming "Back When We Were Young", a made for TV movie for Hallmark Hall of Fame to be shown Thanksgiving 2004. Jonathan plays the "lead" child.
