OUR STORY
Janie Olmstead is a Kentucky native who earned her bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Kentucky.
Having been a Miss Kentucky, a school teacher, and a guidance counselor, Janie followed her dream and founded Images Model & Talent Agency in 1977.
Images is committed to providing professionally trained talent to meet the needs of our clients. We train talent for runway, commercial, television, print and film.
Janie is a founding member of IMTA (International Model & Talent Association). Janie and her team have been training and preparing aspiring actors, models & singers to attend IMTA competitions twice a year since 1980.
Images has received the Education Excellence Award, International Modeling School of The Year (three consecutive years), Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Awards from IMTA.
Janie was honored to receive Lexington’s “Business Woman of The Year” by NAWBO, the National Association of Women Business Owners. Images was named Small Business of the Year by The Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce.
Images continues to make “dreams come true” for individuals of all ages. With our outstanding reputation for community involvement, we make a positive impact in Lexington and beyond.
