What is IMTA?

IMTA stands for The International Modeling and Talent Association. It is a “professional association of the finest and most successful modeling and talent training centers in the world.” IMTA has been holding conventions since 1987 and has been putting fresh new faces in front of fashion and talent agents, personal managers, casting directors, network representatives and music producers.  Consider IMTA a once in a lifetime chance to be discovered by some of the best scouts in the industry!

What Happens at IMTA?

IMTA holds many competitions at IMTA events (there are two in the U.S., New York City and Los Angeles) that provide opportunities to get in front of movers and shakers in fashion, acting, singing, dancing and songwriting. Not only do these events open doors and make dreams a reality, they build self-confidence as well as creating relationships that can last a lifetime.

Who can attend IMTA?

IMTA is for aspiring actors, models, dancers, singers and songwriters. Participants can be as young as 4 years old. You must be part of a member training center to attend. Images Model & Talent Agency is a founding member and training center of IMTA. You can find a listing of training centers on IMTA's website.

How Do I Attend an IMTA event?

IMTA events are closed events, which means that only a select list of companies receive an invitation to attend the event. This ensures safety as well as a professional and supportive environment to showcase skills to the best in the industry- from agents to scouts to casting directors.

Because IMTA is a closed event, participants can only attend IMTA if they are members of a training center. IMAGES is a founding member of IMTA and has been training and preparing models, actors, singers, dancers and songwriters since IMTA’s inception. Images Model and Talent Agency is the only member training center in Kentucky. If you want to go to IMTA, you gotta check out IMAGES in Lexington, Kentucky.
